Anderson Insulation was founded in 1949 and has been serving the community for 60 years. Currently, Anderson Insulation is owned and operated by the second generation of the Anderson family.

The main corporate office is located at 706 Brockton Avenue in Abington, MA. This facility occupies over 40,000 square feet of space devoted to warehousing, fabrication and office space.

The number of employees ranges anywhere from 75-100 at any given time, and the company maintains and operates a fleet of more than 30 trucks.

Anderson Insulation was voted one of the top five of insulation contractors in America by RSI magazine in 2007. We are the only insulation contractor in Massachusetts certified by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and its local chapter affiliate, the Builders Association of Greater Boston (BAGB).

· All new hires MUST pass a CORI check

· All employees are given full benefits and paid hourly, not piece-rate, to ensure you are getting the best job possible

· All salesmen and laborers have passed OSHA’s 10 hour Construction Safety Class

· We frequently have manufacturers’ technicians, salesmen, and representatives come and visit for field and/or classroom training.

· We send our employees, both salesmen and laborers out for training and seminars to keep them up to date with the latest requirements and cutting edge building envelope knowledge.

· We are a Lead Safe Certified Company

The Anderson Foundation is a private non-profit Foundation which has received 501 (c) 3 status from the IRS, therefore donations are fully tax deductible. The Foundation is not a grant-making entity nor does it entertain requests for funding. The Foundation maintains and operates cultural and literacy programs. Our major program is Cooking Up Culture at Boston University.  We also work with the Abington Public Library and the Vineyard Haven Library providing cultural enrichment programs for children in those communities. Our most recent focus has been the creation of Kids-4-Kenya in conjunction with Growth Through Learning, which is a learning program for kids culminating in a fundraising act which can help change a child’s life in Africa.

The Anderson Foundation is fully funded by Anderson Insulation, Inc. in an effort to make a difference in the world, not only through conserving energy, but changing lives.
